Thanks to the efforts of Ranger Tetzy and his donation of his hair. The 2017 festival was able to raise $3400 for cancer reasearch.
Life is Worth Living
Thanks to the donation of several guitars by Aces Wyld. The 2017 festival hosted “Smash for Cash” where lucky winners were able to smash guitars onstage alongside Aces Wyld. The contest raised $1500 for Life is Worth Living. A cause dedicated to raising awareness and reducing the stigma surrounding suicide and mental illness.
2017 Applause for a Cause Winner
The town of Unity won the 2017 Applause for a Cause contest. Tralapa donated $1000 to aid in the construction of their new Sports Complex.
In early 2018 Tralapa was able to raise $1200 through ticket sales to assist the Broncos GoFundMe.
The Old Canteen
Brought to the park in 1967 as part of the Centennial celebration, exactly 50 years later Tralapa was able to begin restoration.
Thanks to attendees and sponsors the park is coming back together piece by piece.
With a Great Moustache comes Great Responsibility
Those Park Ranger moustaches aren’t just for good looks. Every November the Tralapa Park Rangers participate in Movember and raise money for men’s health.
